Mobile Shredding in Dallas

Dallas mobile shredding services provide our clients with secure state of the art destruction technology at their doorstep.

A Mobile “On Site” shredding truck is sent to your particular location and the material is destroyed at your facility. These Mobile Units are self-contained, supplying their own source of power for the unit. There is no need to remove staples or rubber bands during this process; however, it is the responsibility of the customer to remove any other contaminants from the material to be destroyed including, but not limited to any other non-paper material: i.e. three ring binders, plastics, trash, flammables or hazardous materials.

Many companies in larger Metropolitan areas have limited access to their loading docs thus allowing only a certain amount of time for our vehicles to be parked in these spaces, thus limiting the amount of time available to complete the shredding process. Before selecting this method of destruction it is important for you verify your company’s or building’s policy and procedure first regarding the matter.

In the event you are using a Mobile On Site Shredding service to assist you with a purge or cleanout involving boxed paper material unless other arrangements have been made the customer is most often responsible for the removal of their empty boxes once the shredding process has been completed.

There is a price difference in the services between On Site and Off Site destruction not result of security issue, but primarily due to operational factors, efficiency, and associated costs. On Site Shredding Trucks are only capable of shredding a fraction of the material of that of Off Site Facilities. Most On Site vehicles are capable of shredding 1,500-2,000lbs of material per hour, whereas Off Site Facilities are capable of shredding 8,000-12,000 lbs of material per hour. As a result, Off Site Facilities are not only better equipped to handle large volumes for purges or clean outs, but are more cost effective, therefore offering better prices to customers.

Both methods, including Mobile Shredding (On Site) and Plant-Based Document Shredding (Off Site) are widely accepted throughout the United States and other developed nations and recognized by the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) with each offering unique benefits to the customer.
